What this site knows about you, and what happens when you apply.

What this site collects: almost nothing.

lucythelender.com is a set of plain pages. There is no account to create, no form to fill in, and no application taken on this site. It runs no analytics, no advertising trackers, and sets no cookies.

Two small exceptions, stated plainly. First, the company that hosts this site (Netlify) keeps standard server logs — the kind every website host keeps — which include the IP address and browser type of each visit. Lucy does not use them to identify you. Second, the document checklist on the loan programs page saves your tick marks in your own browser's storage so they are still there when you come back. That information stays on your device. It is never sent to Lucy, to EDGE, or to anyone else, and you can clear it at any time by clearing your browser data.

What happens when you take the next step.

The moment you call, text, email, or start an application, you are giving information to Lucy Thornton's team at EDGE Home Finance Corporation — and different, stricter rules take over. Financial information you provide for a loan is protected by federal law, the Gramm-Leach-Bliley Act, and you will receive EDGE's consumer privacy notice as part of the application process. That notice — not this page — is what governs how your loan file is used and shared.

The online application itself runs on a secure loan-application system operated for EDGE (you will see the address edge.my1003app.com). It has its own privacy policy, presented there.

What Lucy will never do with what you send her: sell it, or share it with anyone who is not part of getting your loan done or a regulator entitled to see it.

This site links out to services Lucy does not run — the USDA eligibility map, Google and Zillow review pages, nmlsconsumeraccess.org, and the application system above. Once you follow one of those links, that site's privacy policy applies, not this one.

Children.

This site is not directed at children, and Lucy does not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18. Mortgages are an adults-only problem.

Changes to this page.

If the site ever starts collecting more than it does today — an analytics tool, a contact form — this page will be updated first, and the date below will change.
